Our three day process allowed several people the opportunity to shop, pack, organize, weigh, clean, schedule, take photos …. we gave in so many ways to our lovely partners, the African immigrants and refugees.

Recently, KPC Buddhist Relief delivered 825lbs of potatoes, cabbage, green beans, corn, cauliflower, carrots and onions, as well as soft taco shells, coconut milk, penne pasta, Parmesan cheese, spices, cooking spray, par boiled rice, canned chicken and beans to Shepherd's Table.

Addressing the Challenge of Rising Food Costs
KPC Buddhist Relief delivered 573 lbs of food to our partner, First Baptist Church of Silver Spring, including apples, string cheese, dried and canned beans, condiments, jams, soups, canned meat and fish, mashed potatoes, and much more.
Going Beyond Our Limitations
We recently delivered 610 lbs of fresh produce to Chef Cheryl at Miriam’s Kitchen. An abundance of potatoes, poblano peppers, kale, sweet potatoes, onions, mushrooms, jicama, limes, corn, pears, bananas, quinoa, couscous and fresh parsley, went to making delicious meals for those in need!
Supporting Our Local Partners
