A Wonderful Evening to Benefit Beings
Thank you to all who supported the Born I concert held on September 30. We are delighted to announce that we raised over $3450 for KPC and Buddhist Relief, which will allow us to continue our work to benefit all beings.
Come Enjoy a Benefit Concert This Saturday
It’s not too late to support KPC Buddhist Relief at a benefit concert Saturday, September 30 from 5 – 7 PM. The concert will be held on the front lawn of the KPC Buddhist Temple, located 20 miles northwest of DC on 72 acres in the beautiful Agricultural Reserve in Western Montgomery County.
Generosity, Compassion and Community
We would like to warmly invite you to attend a benefit concert on Saturday Sept. 30 from 5PM to 7PM to support both KPC and Buddhist Relief. Headlined by rapper and meditation teacher Ofosu Jones-Quartey aka Born I, this family-friendly evening of traditional Tibetan Buddhist prayer, a singing bowl sound bath meditation, and a journey through lyrical music that focuses on spirituality and positivity, will be held on the front lawn of the temple.
Berry Picking Walk in KPC’s Peace Park
This Sunday, July 16th, bring the kids and join us for a guided walk to gather wild edible berries throughout the beautiful trails of KPC Buddhist Temple’s 65-acre Peace Park.
The event is FREE to attend and berry picking baskets will be provided!
