Miriam's Kitchen Delivery: Always an opportunity for generosity

On Friday, volunteers made our third delivery to Miriam’s Kitchen: 593 lbs of fresh produce, condiments, and spices.

Chef Cheryl asked for a wide variety of produce as she and Chef Marcus put together diverse menus for their guests.

We brought potatoes, sweet potatoes, cabbage, onions, tomatoes, cauliflower, chili green peppers, and then added more fun fare including: jicama, parsley, avocado, ginger paste, garlic ginger paste, Kashmiri chili powder and fresh curry leaves.

Miriam’s Kitchen helps individuals obtain the housing, health and critical resources needed to end chronic homelessness. Their chefs cook ‘regular’ and ‘vegetarian’ meals, connecting with their guests by extending respect and love through what they serve. KPC Buddhist Relief supports their efforts by providing the fresh and nourishing ingredients that are needed to instill a sense of worth and being cared for.

Please join us in alleviating hunger in our community. By volunteering with Buddhist Relief, you’ll make a real difference in the lives of others!

We wouldn’t be able to do our work without you. Thank you to all of our kind donors who make our work possible.
