Warm Clothes for the Crisis Center
A big delivery went to Montgomery County Crisis Center today! We brought hats, socks, scarfs, sweaters, gloves, and more warm clothing.
Keeping the Community Warm
Since Monday, Buddhist Relief has taken to the streets to help people weather the extremely cold temperatures this week! We have been distributing blankets, jackets, sleeping bags, hats, scarfs, gloves, socks, long underwear and hot beverages.
Hundreds of Montgomery County families celebrate!
Thanks to you, our generous supporters, we were able to provide holiday food and hundreds of toys to our partners for distribution to local families in need.

The Thanksgiving Pie & Clothing Drive was a success!
We did it! Thanks to YOU, our generous donors, the Thanksgiving Pie/Clothing Drive raised $9,162.50.
KPC Buddhist Relief partners with the Upcounty Hub providing Thanksgiving Meals
On the Monday before Thanksgiving, volunteers from KPC Buddhist Relief joined staff from the Upcounty Hub along with dozens of community members to provide 500 Thanksgiving dinners to families facing food insecurity.
Friday Nov. 17th delivery to First Baptist Church of Silver Spring
On Friday, after our delivery to Wumco Help, much of the same team then traveled to Silver Spring to make a delivery to the First Baptist Church's Food Closet.
Friday Nov. 17th delivery to WUMCO Help Inc.
Our partner WUMCO Help provides many kinds of assistance to those in need-- food, rent, utilities, medical & critical expenses, and much more.
On Friday we made our first large delivery to WUMCO Help.
Monday Nov. 13th Delivery to Shepherd’s Table
A very abundant delivery was made to Shepherd’s Table today! We offered beautiful produce, fruit and dry goods including a new Tandoori marinade for the chefs. Jetsunma also sent over 272lbs of warm clothing to Shepherd’s Table’s Clothing Closet.
