Facing Food Insecurity in rural Montgomery County, Maryland

KPC Buddhist Relief is proud to partner with WUMCO Help Inc.

WUMCO Help provides crucial services to an area of Montgomery County too remote for many other relief providers. Not only do they offer a food pantry and monthly food distributions to rural families, but they also provide financial assistance for critical expenses and transportation assistance.

The area of Montgomery County they serve is in the agricultural reserve which lacks many of the services many of us take for granted. No public transportation, no health facilities, no major grocery stores.

KPC Buddhist Relief proudly supports WUMCO's efforts, supplying food donations both perishable and non, including fresh vegetables from our Giving Garden as well as milk, eggs, cheese, meats and other necessities.

Help us help them! Kindly donate below or volunteer with us.
