Providing dignity, respect & love...with Shepherd's Table
We also brought cream of mushroom soup, arborio rice, quinoa, Thousand Island salad dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, heavy cream, and sour cream. We asked Chef Christina what they had planned for all the sour cream & whipping cream and she told us they’d be making a hash brown casserole!
KPC Buddhist Relief has the flexibility, the heart and the ability, through your generous donations, to learn about the chefs' needs so they can create delicious, nutritious and interesting meals. Through their culinary efforts, they are providing dignity, respect and love to those challenged with food insecurity.

On a recent visit to Shepherd's Table, we delivered 950 pounds of beautiful fresh produce, including carrots, onions, potatoes, asparagus, broccoli, green peppers, zucchini, apples, pears, and mushrooms, to a very happy crew of Shepherd's Table staff and chefs. They'll turn this fresh food into hot nutritious meals for people in need. Shepherd's Table serves three square meals everyday and everyone is welcome at their table.
Christina also shared that, although they have other partners that donate food, KPC Buddhist Relief is the only one that asks about their specific needs and are able to provide those items ... Foods like sour cream, whipping cream, culturally diverse spices and condiments, quinoa, arborio rice, curry pastes, kosher salt , meat …and through the cold months we’ve provided fresh produce so the chefs haven't been limited to canned vegetables.
