They Still Need Us – Help for Ukraine
“So it’s more and more difficult in Ukraine. There’s not enough food. It’s hard to get to it. So hard. I don’t even know how to ask you for more. You’ve given so much, and I’m so proud of all of you that I know, and those that I don’t know also.”
Through Jetsunma’s pristine teachings on wisdom and compassion, we are taught and guided to help all sentient beings. Now is our time to do whatever possible to assist those in need. The situation in Ukraine is dire and is also rapidly changing. At this time, the United Sikhs, the organization Buddhist Relief is directly working with, are in transition as the situation on the ground shifts. The Sikh operations are now asking for monetary donations to help with essential resources, cargo rentals to move supplies, and to assist with on-the-ground aid. The United Sikhs are committed to bringing needed supplies to the people that need them most, braving harrowing and dangerous conditions. Please, contribute what you can, even if it is small, the results are not.

May they recognize what to accept and what to reject,
And pacify the root cause of suffering.
May we joyfully and lovingly accomplish compassionate
Activity for the sake of all beings in all realms.
May the stream of Bodhicitta flow deep, strong and
sweet, to quench the thirst of all beings.
May the fruit of merit ripen in our mind streams,
Nourishing all who are hungry.
May all who are homeless be sheltered, who are cold be
Warmed, who are sick be healed.
May all who are lonely be comforted, the helpless be
Raised up, the poor be satisfied in every way.
May our land be purified of hate and greed.
And may a song of freedom be heard throughout
This and all nations. May we join as one life – which
is our nature – and be unbound by hatred, greed and
ignorance.
May there be peace and joy throughout the 3,000
Myriads of universes! And may I myself bear in love, the
Suffering of all. Now and in the time to come.
