Monday March 18th delivery to Shepherd's Table

Our wonderful Shepherd’s Table team were there to help unload with big blue bins waiting. 

They’re always so happy to see us because they know we care. We show up and connect and listen. 

We share the common goal of helping anyone who needs help… with dignity and nutritious food that respects and feeds the soul.

This week we arrived at Shepherd's Table with 844 lbs of food - 700 lbs of which was produce, including beautiful fresh carrots, onions, green peppers, zucchini, broccoli and cauliflower! Dried goods included staples such as coffee, creamers, sugar, salad dressing, aromatic spices, and 20 lbs of Stryker Farms fresh meat.

We do this because we love, as Jetsunma says. We have an unending wellspring of love that is revealed every time we make an offering and give. 

KPC Buddhist Relief needs your help - to provide food for over 2500 meals every week at Shepherd’s Table alone. We also provide food for the Upcounty Hub; the First Baptist Church of Silver Spring; Poolesville Little Free Pantry; WUMCO Help; and African refugees. 

We are growing because the need is growing.
