Following You I Will Practice
KPC Buddhist Relief's founder, Jetsunma, has always encouraged practicing generosity and compassion as the foundation of our efforts to feed others. KPC Buddhist Relief delivered 510 lbs of food to the First Baptist Church in Silver Spring this Friday. A volunteer was ready with the cart and warmly welcomed us. This time, KPC Buddhist Relief brought many cans of soup, as the First Baptist Church is famous for offering soup. Our donation helped their ongoing display of generosity.
KPC Buddhist Relief has been delivering over 500 lbs of food every other week to the First Baptist Church for over a year. We deliver a rich variety of food, including apples and oranges, chicken noodle soup, beef pot roast soup, vegetable soup, beef barley soup, split pea and ham soup, clam chowder, baked beans, oatmeal, raisin bran breakfast cereal, mashed potatoes, Smucker’s strawberry and apricot preserves, chocolate chip cookies, cooked ham, mixed nuts, flour tortillas, string cheese and shelf stable milk.
Our partners rely on our gifts to serve over 50 families every Saturday when they open their pantry to the community. Please keep this joyous effort going and donate today to Buddhist Relief.
Help us in our efforts by volunteering or making a contribution towards feeding the hungry.
