Thursday Oct. 12th delivery to The Upcounty Hub

Today, our team joyfully delivered 1,212 lbs of food to the Upcounty Hub.

Literally all the floor space in the van was filled with cartons of produce, including those from the Giving Garden plus additional food staples for the Choice Pantry.

All the produce will be distributed to about 200 families tomorrow morning at the parking lot of MLK Jr Middle School in Germantown.

Marko Rivera-Oven, Director of Operations, said that, for the first time, the pantry has not run out of items for the shoppers. More shoppers will be coming tomorrow and there’s plenty to choose from. He tells visitors that 90% of the food comes from Buddhist Relief!

An abundance of food items are available at the Choice Pantry. Check it out in the video below!
