“It reminds me of home.”

Today, and for the last three Thursdays, we have continued to deliver an abundance of culturally appropriate, fresh varieties of produce to the Upcounty Hub for our neighbors in need in Montgomery County. In addition, three smaller deliveries of food staples – especially condiments - were made to ensure that the Hub’s Choice Pantry was fully restocked. 

During the month of October so far,  231 families have come to shop at the Pantry.

Most recently, one of the Pantry clients said (in Spanish):

"I am a single mother, and your help is a blessing to me. God bless you greatly and grant you the desires of your heart."

Mid-September through mid-October is Hispanic Heritage Month. For that occasion, our volunteer Rudy eagerly shared this heartfelt message about how Buddhist Relief takes the time to truly understand and support our neighbors. 💛
